Xinjiang Medical University is the largest government medical university in Xinjiang Province. XJMU initiated the enrollment of international students in 1993. Approx. 300 international students are admitted annually. Starting from 2001, XJMU began recruiting a significant number of undergraduate students from countries including Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, the United Arab Emirates, the USA, the UK, Japan, Korea, Sudan, and Kazakhstan. Currently, Xinjiang Medical University hosts over 800 international students from 20+ countries. The university boasts a team of proficient professors and teachers with strong academic skills. The institution possesses 8 directly affiliated hospitals and 3 indirectly affiliated hospitals. It also offers 45 Hospitals for Medical Practice and 11 Internship Bases throughout the Xinjiang Region.

Criteria & Eligibility
Health Requirement: Students must be in good health and free from any communicable diseases. Age Range: Applicants should be between 18 to 35 years of age. Academic Performance: A minimum of 60% marks in each of the science subjects in HSSC/A-Level is required.
